Log in to your Opticomm modem

    Open the OptiComm web interface at 192.168.20.1 or 192.168.1.1.

    Make sure your device (computer, phone, or tablet) is connected to the modem — either via Wi-Fi or with an Ethernet cable plugged directly into the modem.

    Open any web browser and type http://tplinkwifi.net into the address bar. Press Enter. If the page does not load, try 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1 instead.

    Wait for the login page to appear. This may take a few seconds.

    Enter admin as the username and admin as the password. Then click the login button.

  6. 06

    After logging in, you will see the modem dashboard where you can manage all settings.

Change the Wi-Fi password on OptiComm

    Log in to the Opticomm router admin panel.

    Go to the Wireless Security settings.

    Find the Password or Pre-Shared Key field and enter your new Wi-Fi password.

    Save the changes and restart the router if necessary.

Change the Wi-Fi name on OptiComm

    Navigate to the Wireless Settings section.

    Locate the SSID field and enter your desired Wi-Fi name.

    Save the changes and restart the router if prompted.

Factory reset this OptiComm

    Locate the reset button on the back of the Opticomm router.

    Press and hold the reset button for 10 seconds using a paperclip or similar tool.

    Wait for the router to reboot and restore factory settings.

Change the admin password on OptiComm

    Navigate to the Administration or System settings.

    Locate the Change Password option.

    Enter the current password and then the new password.
