Type this, not a search

// address bar

Address bar

http://My.mifi

  1. Use the browser address bar. A search box will look up My.mifi on the public internet and miss the router.
  2. Type http://My.mifi with no www and no https. You must be joined to this router's Wi-Fi.
  3. If the name does not open, use the numeric address 192.168.1.1 instead.
  • Do not search for My.mifi

    Typing 'My.mifi' into a search engine will not work. Enter it directly into the browser's address bar.

  • Avoid adding 'www' or 'https'

    My.mifi does not support 'www' or 'https'. Simply type 'my.mifi' as is.

What is My.mifi?

// briefing

My.mifi is a local web address that gives you access to the admin panel of your router. This address only works when you are connected to the router's network — it does not resolve on the public internet.

Compared to a numeric IP address, My.mifi is easier to remember and is provided by the manufacturer as a convenient alternative for accessing the settings page.

If My.mifi does not resolve in your browser, you can use the numeric fallback address 192.168.1.1 instead. Both lead to the same admin interface.
